Roles & Responsibilities of Travel Consultant

A Travel Consultant assists clients in planning and booking travel arrangements such as flights, accommodations, tours, and transportation. They provide expert advice, tailor travel packages, and ensure a smooth and enjoyable travel experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients in planning and booking flights, hotels, transportation, and tours.
• Provide expert advice on travel destinations, itineraries, and visa requirements.
• Process reservations and issue travel documents.
• Handle customer inquiries, changes, and cancellations.
• Stay updated on travel trends, deals, and regulations.
• Ensure excellent customer service and build long-term client relationships.
• Coordinate with airlines, hotels, and travel partners for smooth bookings.

Requirements:

• Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience as a Travel Consultant or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of travel booking systems (GDS like Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo preferred).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple bookings and work under pressure.
• Passion for travel and customer service.
