Roles & Responsibilities of Learning and Development Specialist
A Learning and Development (L&D) Specialist designs, implements, and evaluates training programs to enhance employee skills, performance, and career growth. They work closely with departments to identify learning needs and deliver initiatives that support organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training Programs: Design and implement training programs to help employees develop new skills.
- Employee Development: Identify areas where employees need training and create learning paths to improve performance.
- Conduct Training: Deliver training sessions or workshops, both in-person and online.
- Assess Needs: Work with managers to assess the skills employees need to grow in their roles.
- Track Progress: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and employee growth.
- Learning Materials: Create or source learning resources like manuals, online courses, or videos.
- Career Development: Help employees plan their career growth by offering guidance and resources.
- Employee Engagement: Foster a learning culture within the company by encouraging continuous education.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Education, or related field.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in learning, training, or HR development.
- Skills: Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
