Roles & Responsibilities
As an Operations Management Trainee, you will gain hands-on experience and training in all aspects of operations management. This role will involve working closely with senior management, learning about process optimization, logistics, resource management, quality control, and team leadership. You will be expected to develop a deep understanding of the company’s operations and contribute to improving processes that enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Training and Development: Participate in a comprehensive training program that covers various functions of operations, including inventory management, production, supply chain logistics, procurement, quality control, and customer service.
Attend workshops, training sessions, and mentoring meetings to gain operational knowledge and leadership skills.
Process Improvement: Analyze existing operations processes and assist in developing recommendations for improvements.
Assist in implementing best practices and solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Operational Support: Work alongside operational managers to support day-to-day activities across different business units.
Contribute to the development and execution of operational strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze data related to production, inventory, staffing, and other key operational metrics.
Prepare reports and presentations to summarize findings and make recommendations.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics, finance, and marketing, to ensure seamless operations.
Assist in managing teams, ensuring that productivity and performance goals are met.
Project Management: Take ownership of small-scale operational projects and oversee their execution from start to finish.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with company standards.
Customer Service and Quality Control: Support efforts to ensure product quality meets company standards and customer expectations .Assist in addressing any customer complaints related to operational inefficiencies.
Leadership Development: Shadow senior leaders and participate in meetings, presentations, and decision-making processes to understand leadership challenges and opportunities in operations management.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Previous internships or work experience in operations, supply chain management, or business analysis is a plus but not required.
Skills :Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) or similar tools.
A basic understanding of project management principles.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
Adaptable and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software or other operational management tools.
Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
Strong leadership potential and an interest in pursuing a career in operations management.
Career Path and Opportunities:
Upon successful completion of the training program, Operations Management Trainees may be promoted to managerial roles such as Operations Supervisor, Operations Manager, or Logistics Manager.

Working Conditions:
Full-time position with standard business hours.
Some travel may be required depending on the company’s operations and locations.
