Roles & Responsibilities of Billing Executive – Marketing
A Billing Executive in Marketing is responsible for managing invoices, processing payments, and ensuring accurate financial transactions related to marketing campaigns and services. They coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to handle billing discrepancies, maintain financial records, and ensure compliance with company policies.
Responsibilities:
Billing:
- Create and handle invoices for marketing services.
- Verify the preciseness of all billing information.
- Balance marketing contracts with payments.
Record-keeping:
- Maintain a record of every payment and invoicing transaction.
- Make sure bills are paid on time.
Assist the Marketing Team:
- Assist in monitoring marketing budgets and expenditures.
- Give marketing campaigns financial reports.
Consultation with Clients:
- Respond to customer billing questions.
- Monitor past-due payments.
Reporting:
- Generate financial and billing reports.
- Coordinate on financial reporting with the finance staff.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or related field.
- 1-2 years of billing or finance experience is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel).
