Roles& Responsibilities of  Tour Guide

A Tour Guide leads individuals or groups on sightseeing tours, providing informative, engaging, and culturally relevant commentary about places of interest. They ensure safety, answer questions, and enhance the overall travel experience for tourists.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and conduct informative, engaging tours for individuals or groups.
• Provide historical, cultural, and local insights about destinations.
• Answer visitor questions and ensure a memorable experience.
• Ensure safety and follow tour schedules.
• Assist guests with directions, recommendations, and other inquiries.
• Handle unexpected situations and resolve guest concerns.
• Stay updated on local history, events, and attractions.

Requirements:

• Strong communication and public speaking skills.
• Knowledge of local history, landmarks, and culture.
• Experience in tour guiding or customer service (preferred).
• Ability to walk/stand for extended periods and work outdoors.
• Multilingual abilities (preferred).
• Certification or license (if required by local regulations).
