Roles & Responsibilities of Reservation Manager
A Reservation Manager oversees booking operations for hotels, resorts, or travel services. They manage reservation systems, coordinate with sales and front office teams, ensure optimal room occupancy, and deliver excellent customer service to guests during the booking process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage hotel reservations and ensure efficient booking processes.
- Maximize occupancy and revenue through effective room allocation.
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and booking modifications.
- Coordinate with front desk, housekeeping, and sales teams.
- Maintain accurate records of reservations and guest details.
- Monitor online booking platforms and update rates and availability.
- Train and supervise reservation staff as needed.
- Resolve guest complaints professionally and efficiently.
Requirements:
- Degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience in hotel reservations or front office management.
- Knowledge of hotel booking software (e.g., Opera, PMS, or similar).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
