Roles & Responsibilities

A Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operation of a warehouse or distribution center. This role involves managing inventory, supervising staff, optimizing warehouse processes, ensuring safety and compliance, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through timely and accurate order fulfillment. The Warehouse Operations Manager ensures that warehouse activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively while meeting organizational goals.

Responsibilities

Standard Operations :Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for warehouse efficiency.
Oversee shipment receiving, order fulfillment, and delivery processes.
Manage fleet operations and optimize warehouse layout and space utilization.
Collaborate with internal teams to organize deliveries and distributions.

3PL and Central Warehouse Management :Ensure 3PL operations meet established SLAs and KPIs across all countries.
Monitor central warehouse performance to guarantee timely deliveries.
Conduct regular audits on 3PL invoices for accuracy.

Team Leadership :Lead recruitment, training, and performance management of warehouse staff.
Set clear objectives for the team and ensure they are met.
Enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.

Reporting and Analysis :Generate and analyze reports on KPIs and warehouse performance metrics.
Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.

Special Projects :Execute ad-hoc projects such as setting up new warehouses or implementing Transport Management Systems (TMS).

Desired Candidate Profile

Proven experience in warehouse operations management, including 3PL and central warehouse oversight.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire teams.
Expertise in SOP development, fleet management, and optimizing warehouse layouts.
Familiarity with safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a secure workplace.
Analytical mindset with experience in generating and interpreting performance data.
