Roles & Responsibilities
An E-commerce Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing online sales platforms, driving digital marketing strategies, and ensuring a smooth shopping experience for customers. This role focuses on increasing online traffic, improving conversion rates, and maximizing revenue through e-commerce channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize the company’s e-commerce platforms, including product listings, pricing, and promotions.
- Analyze website traffic, customer behavior, and sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Develop and implement digital marketing strategies, including email marketing, SEO, SEM, and social media campaigns.
- Coordinate with product, marketing, and design teams to ensure the online store is aligned with brand standards and offers an engaging customer experience.
- Monitor online inventory levels and ensure product availability for customers.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints related to online orders.
- Implement strategies to improve website functionality, user experience, and site speed.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, average order value, and customer retention.
- Stay up-to-date with e-commerce trends, technology, and best practices.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, or a related field (preferred).
- 2-3 years experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of online sales platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon).
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Facebook Ads Manager).
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Knowledge of SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media strategies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, or web design is a plus.
