Job Description
A Medical Assistant helps doctors and nurses with both administrative and clinical tasks in medical offices, hospitals, or clinics. They ensure the smooth operation of the healthcare facility by performing a variety of duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care: Take patient vital signs (like blood pressure, temperature) and prepare them for exams.
Assist with Exams: Help doctors during physical exams or procedures.
Administer Medications: Give patients prescribed medications or injections as directed by the doctor.
Prepare Samples: Collect samples like blood or urine for testing.
Administrative Duties: Schedule appointments, handle patient records, and manage billing or insurance paperwork.
Sterilize Equipment: Clean and sterilize medical tools and workspaces.
Skills and Qualifications:
