Roles & Responsibilities of HR Generalist

An HR Generalist manages a broad range of human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits, training, and compliance. They ensure HR policies and procedures are implemented effectively to support both employees and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment & Staffing: Help with hiring by posting jobs, screening resumes, and interviewing candidates.
  • Employee Onboarding: Assist new hires with paperwork and help them settle into their roles.
  • Employee Relations: Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Performance Management: Support managers with performance reviews and employee development.
  • Payroll & Benefits: Ensure employees are paid correctly and manage benefits like health insurance and leave.
  • Compliance: Make sure the company follows labor laws and company policies.
  • Training & Development: Help organize training programs and development opportunities for employees.
  • HR Administration: Maintain employee records and HR systems, and assist with HR reports.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure the workplace is safe and employees follow safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in HR.
  • Skills: Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
