Roles & Responsibilities of  Software Marketing & Sales Executive

Software Marketing focuses on promoting and selling software products or services by identifying target audiences, creating compelling messaging, and executing digital and traditional marketing strategies. It involves market research, lead generation, and customer engagement to drive product adoption and revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

Sales:

  • Find new leads and sell software products.
  • Give product demos and presentations.
  • Close sales and hit sales targets.
  • Maintain relationships with clients.

Marketing:

  • Create and run marketing campaigns to promote software.
  • Produce content like emails and ads to attract customers.
  • Measure the success of marketing efforts.

Product Knowledge:

  • Stay updated on software features to inform customers.
  • Share feedback on customer needs and improvements.

Customer Support:

  • Help customers with software-related inquiries.
  • Work with the support team to ensure customer satisfaction.

Reporting:

  • Track and report on sales and marketing results.
  • Adjust strategies based on market trends.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, or similar.
  • 1-3 years of experience in software sales and marketing.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of the software industry.
  • Comfortable with CRM tools and MS Office.
