Roles & Responsibilities of Customer Service Representative

The Customer Service Representative is the main point of contact for customers, helping them with questions, issues, and complaints. The role is focused on providing excellent customer service through phone, email, or chat.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer customer questions and resolve issues.
  • Handle complaints and provide solutions.
  • Process orders and provide product/service information.
  • Document customer interactions.
  • Work with other teams to solve problems.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge.
  • Meet performance goals like customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable using computers and software.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure.

Preferred Skills:

  • Being bilingual is a plus.
  • Experience with customer service software.

Working Conditions:

  • Office work.
  • Flexible hours, including evenings/weekends.
