Roles & Responsibilities of Customer Service Representative

A Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for assisting customers by answering inquiries, resolving complaints, and providing product or service support. They ensure customer satisfaction and maintain a positive brand image through effective communication and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer customer questions and resolve issues.
  • Handle complaints and provide solutions.
  • Process orders and provide product/service information.
  • Document customer interactions.
  • Work with other teams to solve problems.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge.
  • Meet performance goals like customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable using computers and software.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure.

Preferred Skills:

  • Being bilingual is a plus.
  • Experience with customer service software.

Working Conditions:

  • Flexible hours, including evenings/weekends.
